Alex Uxbridge

Private View: Wednesday 10th May 6.30pm - 8pm

This exhibition presents a broad range of subject matter, confidently crafted in Alex’s painterly style. The work takes us on a journey through place and season with depictions of bluebell woods in the Chilterns, the beauty of Siena on a warm summer evening, to the vivid colours of autumn in the Sierra Nevada. From the almost abstract mark-making of a work such as Whitewater to the subtle elegance of interior scenes and still lifes such as Chateau de Chamballan, all the paintings evoke a strong sense of place.

Exhibition continues until Sunday 4th June 2017
